"We started looking in Salmon Arm for our retirement home. We inquired about a property through Paul and Shannon. We viewed properties remotely, on line and in person with both her and Paul. She was always available to explain anything to us, and some cases, more than once!
And, Paul is that kind of guy who "knows somebody who does that". Our first few offers didn't pan out. But, they were diligent in their search. Just when we were considering a different town, they found us a great option. My wife and I were surprised by how much time, effort and forethought they put in for us. I just recently sold my house and bought another house. Paul Agassiz was my realtor. I had first met Paul when he was the realtor who sold my parents townhouse when they passed away. I was very happy with how Paul handled everything at a very difficult time in my life. Over the next few years I contacted Paul when I was thinking of selling my house and he came over and we talked about what needed to be done to my house to put it on the market. As it turns out, I did not actually put my house up for sale until many years later. When selling my house I explained to Paul that I had never done this on my own and I would have to rely on him to tell me how to proceed. This also included my finding a house to buy. Paul Agassiz was our our agent for two different residential property sales and purchases. Among the many reasons we retained Paul is that during our first experiences with him, he impressed us with his ability to focus on our requirements and did not present us with properties that would not suit us or that we would not be seriously interested in considering. Paul was always available to show us anything that we asked about. On more than one occasion he directed us away from a listing because he knew "it is not for you". He listened carefully to our comments about each property we viewed and was able to refine our search so that we were not wasting our time, or his. Our first transaction was completed without a hitch. Paul's services were money well spent.

When we made our next move, we had made an offer on a home and we got an offer for our house while we were in Ontario. Then a there was a competing offer for the house we wanted happened simultaneously. Everything had to be dealt with within a matter of hours and there was no way we could be present for the negotiations nor the decision making.

Paul saw to it that we were well represented in the negotiations in both successful transactions. He wrote a letter on our behalf, to clarify the situation to the other agents and made sure the vendors knew the ethics of the situation, and kept us well informed and completely in the loop throughout the entire process. Again, Paul's services were well worth the price. We would not have this house had he not been there to act on our behalf.

We searched for over eight years for this place and we love our new home. Paul must have shown us 20 or more homes during that search. That represents a fair amount of time together and during that time we have formed a valuable relationship, both as clients and as friends. We recommend Paul Agassiz as a real estate agent, without reservation. He is a very good person to have in your corner.
